CONCEPT

The Composite Molten Alloy Cap is conceived as an experiment in material transition, bridging soft utility with controlled deformation. Its classic silhouette is interrupted by a central structural spine and a disrupted visor edge, introducing a liquid-metal element that shifts a familiar form into a sculptural, heavy-duty accessory. The contrasting textures of composite technical fabric and hardened alloy emphasize surface depth, creating a visual tension that reflects raw material evolution. ENGINEERING

Built from a heavyweight cotton drill base, the Composite Cap uses a precision-placed webbing channel running through the crown and visor to generate a rigid, dimensional spine. The visor is cut and reinforced with hand-applied metal alloy, creating a raw molten edge that hardens in place with deliberate irregularity—ensuring no two pieces cool identically. An adjustable rear closure anchors the fit, while reinforced stitching integrates functional utility directly into the panel architecture. Every surface is intentional—assembled, calibrated, and precision-finished to uphold the garment’s mechanical aesthetic.
